CINDY M. KRUEGER
– Hmm … things about me. I’m a career educator and have worked in education for thirty years.
Including many other “duties as assigned” I’ve been a classroom health teacher, a coach for softball, volleyball, and basketball, a guidance/career counselor in Adult Education, an education coordinator for Adult Education, and for the past three years have been an education technology/support specialist/counselor for online learning. My Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree of Education are from Utah State University, and I hold a Secondary Certificate as a Guidance Specialist from the University of Phoenix.
During my time in Adult Education I was on the Board of Directors for the Utah Association for Adult, Community and Continuing Education (UAACCE) for six years, serving as President in 2001. I also served
on local committees including the Comprehensive Counseling Guidance Steering Committee for Jordan School District, Jordan FACT Coordinating Council, Advisory Board to 21st Century Community Learning Centers and the Midvale Stable Families Committee.
As an undergrad at USU, I was the starting third baseman for USU softball for four years and was a team captain for three, earning second-team All-American honors in 1981. Our teams won the national championships in 1980 and 1981, and I have been honored, along with my teammates from both championship teams, to have recently been inducted into the USU Athletic Hall of Fame.
Personally I was blessed with a beautiful daughter in 2008 and am thoroughly enjoying life as a mommy.
My leisure pursuits include reading to my daughter, skiing, hiking, travel, and participating in the Huntsman Senior Games in basketball and softball.
