Rubric
Rubistar is the tool I choose to create a rubric for the evaluation on the Data Driven Teaching Presentation. I first played around a little with Canvas and UEN Rubric tools. I found Rubistar to be the easiest for me to use for the creation of a rubric. This tool seemed to have more flexibility with creation and easiest to navigate. I like to be able to just dig in and start using a tool without a lot of help.
I discovered I wish I would have spent more time with Canvas and UEN rubric tools. Yes, I was able to create quickly using Rubistar, but I found more dislikes than likes after I finished; the text did not move around how I would have liked; the preview was different then the printed copy and it was difficult to save as a usable digital file.
The next time I create a rubric I will probably use UEN's tool. I think you have to be a teacher in a Canvas course to create and attach a rubric to an assessment, which I am not.
Below is a blank rubric file. I created it a little different then most I have seen. The rubric is a consistent and coherent set of expectations.
