I was sick on this day. I am going to post in my notes what I learned from guided exploration from the agenda. Through working on my PLN Showcase I experienced and learned many ideas, tools and apps. I checked out TED-ED. Wow. I spent a long time exploring. Great videos and concepts. I will use this with my employees and in trainings. I've learned the way I have made and presented with PP has all been wrong. I'm kind of embarrassed now that I look back on it. I am a rambler and will use the method of Pecha Kucha (PechaKoocha). I'm feeling more comfortable using Hauki Deck, Animoto, Blendspace, Pintrest and more with TED-ED. I want to learn more with Doc Presentations. Sometimes I don't have access to PP software. To have it in the cloud, how awesome. I found a great app in the agenda for creating Book Covers through readwritethink. I will use this personally and professionally. Thanks for all the great ideas. Two stars and a wish format:
*This book cover app above readwritethink. **Google Docs I did not know you could do this much in here. I want to practice and learn/use this. I could have used this with doc presentations. The computer I'm using right now does not have Microsoft Office on it. ***Wish: Continue having some class time to explore in class. Check out NearPod can run all ipads together in class

Wish: More time to explore in class Twitter Mentoring App Ed Review Pinterest: Find ideas and tweak them. Google Docs look up Question 1: What makes you most nervous about starting to create your PLN and why? Networking is a prime form of 21st century learning. The world is much smaller thanks to technology. Learning networks are based on the theory of connectivism, or learning from diverse social webs. Connectivism implies that learning relies on communicating ideas with others. PLNs facilitate learning through meaningful interactions. The advantages of PLNs today are two-fold. In one way, they can improve classroom teaching and help develop new projects. On the other hand, they act as a form of communal intelligence that changes societal perceptions.
